Consciousness and awareness evolved:
I read an article on ESG that was about consciousness. I have been on a lifelong trek to find out about it.
Science is now beginning to uncover evidence, that consciousness is not isolated within individual brain.

Quantum physics is showing patterns that point openly toward a deeper role for consciousness, it is starting to align with what people have sensed for centuries: consciousness may not be confined to the brain, limited by distance, or bound by time. Instead, it could interact with the quantum structure of reality itself—an interaction that might hold the key to truly understanding consciousness.

Particles show wave-like behaviours when not observed, scattering into many possible states. Yet, when they are measured, they are seen to travel through space, detect patterns, and integrate information instantly.
This suggests that our awareness functions like an antenna. a receiver in the brain.
***
In this context, awareness operates more as a signal than a purely biological characteristic. This non-local behaviour is in line with human experience.
Question: Is our body an antenna through which consciousness experience is the world?
This remains an open question that is shared by philosophy, mysticism, and modern neuroscience.

Emotion plays an integral role in the way consciousness processes information, that has been demonstrated by neuroscience.
Studies in neuroscience shows that awareness continues even when major parts of the brain have been disconnected.
People report vivid perception in near death experiences, described accurate events happening around them.

Stanislas Dehaene: Giulio Tononi: Christof Koch are three neuroscientists working on the theories to date.
Back in the 19190s it was Sir Roger Penrose & Stuart Hameroff: (Orch-OR). They say that classical neuron firings cannot account for consciousness and that it instead originates from quantum processing inside structures called microtubules. These are cellular structures that function as transport systems to ensure essential substances are delivered to their required destinations within the cell.

Nobel prize winning quantum physicist Erwin Schrodinger grappled to outline a unified field theory, declaring – as had the mystics for centuries – that there is only one consciousness pervading all universes.
The “quantum wave” is the movement into oneness in consciousness, it happens in our bodies.
***
Physicist Amit Goswami seeks to link science and spirituality, suggesting consciousness involves both material and immaterial elements, and believes understanding it requires studying brain activity and awareness.

This work is often controversial and perplexing and pushes the limitations of our current scientific understanding. It encourages us to explore the mysteries of consciousness with open minds and willingness to look at radical new ideas.
If the brain is’ the antenna for a universal consciousness, the implications are profound, it suggests we are interconnected within a unified field, which shapes our understanding of ourselves in the cosmos.

Consciousness is the subjective experience of being alive, feeling of sights, sounds, thoughts, and emotions. Despite massive advances in neuroscience, how the physical brain matter generates this internal, non-physical-seeming awareness remains one of science's greatest unresolved mysteries.
***
Maybe we have reached a point in the history of science and mysticism, that they might agree on the nature of consciousness.
Today scientists say they have identified a connection between consciousness and quantum physics. It may be the connection is, as one scientist wrote, a “quantum wave that connects to the rest of the universe.”
This rising wave dissolves separateness and creates oneness.
***
Accordingly, like the mystics of old, scientists are beginning to identify an “architecture of consciousness” simultaneously existing in all worlds at once, a grand alignment whose beauty and order awes us. As prophesied by the Gaon of Vilna we are returning to a unified field of consciousness, where science and mysticism meet again, where the new rejoins the old.

Was life simpler when people believed Earth was the universe's centre with seven planets orbiting it?
For more than five centuries, we have lived dependent on a scientific directive to tell us how the world functions, ignoring the transcendent, the holy, and the mysterious as if they were false. We no longer need to do that.
***
If “quantum consciousness” is true, then science validates what we have known as visionaries: that we can trust our own intuition, our inspiration, our imagination, our feelings of love and compassion, our devotion to an unseen God, to heal our loneliness and bring us back together into a oneness of aliveness and experience, of consciousness and of dreaming.
***
In short, while the theory remains unproven, all progress so far indicates that we are on the right track to solving this challenging problem. We are much closer now than we were when I started to look at it.
